Typeface Tuesdays: Floral typeface in Chucktown

Interestingly, weddings as of late, have provided some interesting typefaces. They’ve come to me instead of me having to hunt. This weekend’s wedding was set in beautiful Charlestown, and above the altar for the ceremony hung a floral typeface made up of a gorgeous assortment of whites, greens, pinks, and purples. There were two letters –  J for Jennifer the bride and M for Mike the groom. Well-executed but because of the density of the flowers, the M form is a little hard to make out and could be mistaken for a H at quick glance.

Another look at typefaces (retro and conventional removal sign type) AND a fun wedding touch. This is the old American movie theater which is also featured in the movie the Notebook.
